I gotta admit, I fell down on this one. New year, new opportunity to totally lose every good habit I’ve tried to build. Anyway, this is abbreviated, whoops.

Homestead

I’m sure I did something…

Health

Allergies!

Games

RPGs:

  • Hung out with Open Hearth folks for a new year’s hangout
  • Got a barebones draft of the (fully playtested, totally good, almost decade old) Icebox: Timeline game that I’ve slacked on forever.
  • Played the last game of Lancer in our little series
  • Slugblaster is still going strong in our Thursday night group
  • Doing quarterlies (12-game series) of the Mecha Hack and Court of Blades, which both look killer
  • Played a little Mausritter with the folks kickstarting a new megadungeon that looks super rad.
  • Put together a character keeper for My Life With Master, in hopes of playing it sometime soon
  • Been doing some weekly Mothership, which is nice
  • Ran a session of Troika using the Acid Death Fantasy setup for a fill-in session, and it rocks.

Video/Board Games:

  • Got back into Into the Breach a bit, it’s still a damn masterpiece
  • Tried out Slice and Dice, a nice random time filler
  • Played Airplane Bros (really Sky Team) with Nic a bunch

Media

  • Read most of “Unfuck Your Business”, but I think it’s still fucked.
  • Watched Stalker, which is always a treat.
  • Continued watching Dungeon Meshi, the Netflix adaptation of Delicious in Dungeon, which is exactly what the world needs right now.
  • Watched Saltburn, which was fine.
  • Checked out the new Echo MCU series, pretty decent, but clearly the victim of some production bullshit.
  • Finally read the DIE comic (and game), also fine.

Work

Got a little side job for a couple of weeks, but it didn’t work out.

Other Stuff

Trip to Wakefield, hang out with folks, all that.

Plans

lol.
